Sajal Swaroop, DMD

Dr. Swaroop hails from Connecticut, and graduated magna cum laude Honors Scholar from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science. At UConn, he had received multiple scholarships and letters from the Governor of Connecticut for his academic excellence. He then went onto attend the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he also studied medicine at the Harvard Medical School as part of his training. His combined training in medicine and dentistry at Harvard and his background in engineering got him interested in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Swaroop received his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston. As part of his residency, he spent a year in general surgery and anesthesia and served as the chief resident of the service. He was a two-time recipient of Dr. Kenneth M. Stern Endowed Scholarship Award for his continued academic and clinical excellence. Dr. Swaroop went to Honduras on a mission trip to treat numerous patients with tumors, developmental deformity and trauma. He was active in various research projects and presented them nationally in Philadelphia and internationally in Hong Kong.

His interests in oral surgery include dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, complex bone grafting, in-office sedation, orthognathics, TMJ disorders, pathology, reconstructive surgeries, Botox® and cosmetic fillers. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Massachusetts Dental Society, Massachusetts Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and American Dental Association. He maintains hospital privileges at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Brockton. 

In his time off Dr. Swaroop enjoys spending time with his family, teaching, and travelling to enjoy local food and experience new cultures.
